Hello!
I’m Ricardo Coronado, an architectural designer with a Master of Architecture from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, with a concentration in urbanism, located in MA. My work spans diverse regions, providing me with a global perspective that is both culturally sensitive and environmentally conscious.
With hands-on experience in both construction and design, I bring a well-rounded understanding to architecture. My background includes architectural design, master planning, spatial programming, feasibility studies, residential renovations, and multifamily design. I approach each project with an acute awareness of context, community, and climate. My design ethos emphasizes sustainability by leveraging passive heating and cooling strategies, up-to-date code requirements, and material-conscious decisions to improve the built environment.
My work also focuses on clear, accessible graphics, drafting, and space planning, ensuring that complex ideas are effectively communicated and easily understood. I’m especially interested in creating equitable third spaces that foster community engagement while remaining rooted in sustainable and context-responsive design.
I believe architecture is most impactful when it fosters belonging, empowers people, and integrates meaningfully into its environment. Whether designing infrastructure, adaptive reuse, or public spaces, I strive to create architecture that serves, inspires, and endures.
