SUSTAINABLE DESIGN I PASSIVE HEATING AND COOLING | MAKER SPACE I FABRICATION LABS I COMMUNITY HUB | CLIMATE-RESPONSIVE DESIGN I SUN-RESPONSIVE FACADE I GEOTHERMAL ENERGY I FIN SYSTEM

This project is a sustainable maker space and community hub designed to foster creativity, technical learning and community engagement. The building incorporates geothermal systems and passive heating and cooling strategies, including a dynamic fin system that responds to solar orientation. These fins modulate light, temperature, and privacy framing specific views while adjusting in size and angle according to the sun’s path.

Inside, the building houses a wide range of fabrication and learning spaces such as woodworking, welding, ceramics, robotics, and digital labs, complemented by public areas like exhibit zones, library, lounge areas, and a cafe.
