This project is a two-part urban revitalization strategy focused on Cedar Grove and Ashmont, two neighborhoods along the Mattapan Trolley Line. This urban revitalization strategy reconnects Cedar Grove and Ashmont through adaptive reuse of underutilized transit infrastructure.

The Cedar Grove station is relocated to the edge of Codman Yard, transforming the yard into a public plaza featuring a farmer's market, drive-in, and pen space.

In Ashmont, the existing trolley loop becomes an active corridor with bike lanes and youth­focused third spaces allowing for walkability, gathering, and meandering.

A new civic hub on a city-owned site offers middle-income housing and essential services, including a clinic, library, and Boys & Girls Club. This proposal enhances mobility, fosters community, and strengthens identity, making both neighbors vibrant, inclusive, and well-connected urban destinations.
